Product Description

I used a clear glass as the background color of the dish. I then added colored fritt (colored sand particles of fritt) to make the background and Poinsettia flowers. Once this was acomplished the dish was ready for its first firing to fuse the layers of glass and enamel paints together.  Once the first firing was complete, I wet-worked the piece to smooth down any sharp edges and get the piece ready for its second firing that will turn it into a dish by slumping it into a round dish mold. This dish have a scalloped wavy edge. This dish has a scalloped edge.  If you want to learn more on how to paint with fritt pleae see my 20 minute video on youtube.

This dish measures 9.75 inches in width by 9.75 inches in length and .35 inches in depth.  All of my dishware is microwave and dishwasher safe unless it has gold, silver, or dichroic glass added into it.  I will always state in the item descriptions weather these things were used.  If these item have been used in the creation of the dish then it is no longer microwave safe.
